Wolves let a first half lead slip and were knocked out of the League Cup by a hard-working Loughborough.

Becky Hall (pictured) headed home from a Maria Beaney corner on 39 minutes to put Wolves ahead, but the second half saw Loughborough take the initiative and they scored on 64 minutes.

Wolves battled but never seemed to regain the advantage, and Loughborough rounded off the game with a second goal five minutes from time.

Next Sunday Wolves are back to league action when they play host to T.N.S at Goodrich Sports Stadium, Stafford Road, Fordhouses, Wolverhampton -2.30pm kick-off.
