The Morgan Foundation's Commitment To Wolves Aid
The Morgan Foundation was created in 2001 by Wolves chairman Steve Morgan OBE, founder and former chairman of Redrow plc and now chairman of Harrow Estates plc and The Bridgmere Group of companies. Its purpose is to support charities across North Wales, Merseyside, West Cheshire and Shropshire.
The Morgan foundation philosophy is 'Making a Difference'.
The Morgan Foundation specialises in helping children and families and will consider any work which has a positive effect on their welfare or which expands the opportunities or life choices for young people in its region. Though the majority of grant recipients are registered charities, the Morgan Foundation will also consider applications from other types of organisations who are pursuing charitable causes and where aims and objectives are 'not for profit'.
The Morgan Foundation has substantially expanded its grant programme with the intention of 'making a difference' in coming years. Steve Morgan has pledged ten percent of his Foundation's charitable budget to Wolves Aid - demonstrating his dedicated commitment to the community of Wolverhampton.
