Sylvan Ebanks-Blake began his professional career at Manchester United after graduating through the youth ranks at Old Trafford. He was to play just two games for the Premier League giants, both in the League Cup, and he scored in one of them.
In January 2006, he moved to Belgium to gain senior experience playing for Royal Antwerp and he went on to score four goals in nine matches for them.
The following July he signed a three year contract with Plymouth Argyle who paid United an initial £200,000 fee. He very quickly became a regular for the south coast club and scored ten goals in his first season with them.
His second campaign resulted in a further 13 goals from 29 appearances - six of which were as a substitute. Then, in the January transfer window of 2008, he joined Wolves for an undisclosed fee.
Sylvan signed a four and a half year deal. He opened his goal account for Wanderers in only his second game.
