Another product of the club's Academy, Kevin is the younger brother of Burnley midfielder James.
After enjoying a good pre-season build-up in 2006, including a trip to the training camp in Alicante, Kevin had impressed new boss Mick McCarthy sufficiently to be drafted into the line-up for the season's opening game at Plymouth.
His deflected shot, although credited as a Matias Kouo-Doumbe own goal, helped earn Wolves a point and he made his home debut four days later against Ipswich Town.
Sadly, however, Kevin's season was marred by injury but the club exercised a one-year contract option on him in the close season of 2007.
Dublin-born Kevin, linked with a loan move to Gillingham early in 2007/08, has been capped by the Republic of Ireland up to under 21 level.
A hamstring injury has ruled Kev out of action this term.
