Richard Stearman moved across the Midlands to join Wolves from Leicester City for an undisclosed fee in June 2008.
Wolves beat off interest from several other clubs to secure his services with a four year deal.
Richard, who was a member of the England under 21 squad for their games against Bulgaria and Portugal in November 2007, was born in Wolverhampton before moving away from the area at an early age.
He has previously played at England junior level with Wolves midfielder Mark Davies. Although only 20-years-old when he moved to Molineux, he had made 130 appearances for Leicester.
