A left sided midfielder who enjoys playing on either wing and can also play up front, Matt joined Wolves in June, 2007, from Gillingham signing a two year contract with Wolves having the option of an additional year.
Although out of contract at Priestfield, as he was under 24 Wolves paid an undisclosed compensation fee to the Kent club for his services.
Matt, whowas named in the 2006/07 PFA League One Team of the Year, began his career at Millwall spending five years at the New Den before switching to Gillingham where he served his apprenticeship.
Sporting prowess obviously runs in the Jarvis family. Matt, who scored Gillingham's Goal of the Season in the 2005/06 campaign, is the son of Nick and Linda Jarvis who were both ranked as England's number one table tennis players.
Ironically Matt scored his first ever senior goal against Wolves, the winner for Gillingham in October, 2004.
