Kevin had been at Luton Town since the age of nine when he moved to Molineux on a three-year contract during the first week of the 2007/08 season.
Already capped by the Republic of Ireland at under-21 and with a senior call-up to his name, the young right-back had the bitter experience of relegation with his home-town club last season after helping them to promotion two years earlier.
The 2006/07 ended disappointingly for him with an ankle operation but the decision to operate before the summer meant he was fit for the start of this term.
