Keen To Impress
Mark Davies is keen to impress in tonight's reserve game with Aston Villa, in the hope of regaining a place in Wolves' first team before the season is out.
The young midfielder has made 14 first team starts, as well as a further nine appearances from the subs' bench this term, but he remains hungry for more.
"I have had a good run in the first team but now Cams is back and so I've not started in the last couple of games," says the youngster.
"I had a decent run, better than I could have imagined at the start of the season, and I was pretty happy with how I played. There's room for improvement though, I'd like to score a few more goals!
"But I suffered an illness and so missed a bit of the football. I'm fine again now and I'd love to be getting back into the team for the last match or two.
"It's gone great for me this year and I hope to play well tonight and impress.
"It won't be an easy game but we are putting a strong team out and we aim to get a good result."
A match report from tonight's game will be available on wolves.co.uk later this evening.
