Christmas Clearout
Wolves' treatment room has had a 'Christmas clearout' with many of the club's injured players returning to training over the course of the past week.
Paul Ince, Mark Davies and Jody Craddock all returned to competitive action with the reserves last night after their respective thigh, hernia and calf problems.
"We've kicked them all out," says physio Barry Holmes. "It's good that at Christmas time, when there is a busy schedule, some of the lads have been able to begin training again.
"We had Paul and Jody both playing full games for the reserves last night, while Mark Davies came off just before the end.
"They've all come through it OK and so it's now just about making sure they're match fit.
"Matt Murray has now returned to light training as well. He's not been involved in a match situation in training as yet but that's what he is working towards.
"George Ndah went back into training yesterday and so he'll now be working on improving his fitness for the coming games. Carl Cort is also back training, but the biggest problem for him is the type of work that is done during this kind of busy period.
"He needs to work in with a group of players in a high intensity kind of session, but because of the amount of games at this time of year most of the lads are doing recovery work between games instead of high tempo training matches.
"Corty will continue training and hopefully he'll be working his way back into the frame very soon."
