Boss Calls For Total Concentration
Mick McCarthy has called for total concentration as Wolves look ahead to the last league game of the season knowing that three points is a must.
The Molineux side will still be relying on a slip-up from either Crystal Palace or Watford to get into the play-offs, but without a win against Plymouth they will definitely be resigned to another season in the Championship.
Mick said: "I haven't changed my mantra for weeks now. We must concentrate on winning the next game and then see where we are.
"We might win and still not get there, but if we don't we have no chance.
"We said we wanted to still be in it for the last game and that's what's happened. We are in for a tense last few days."
Wolves remain involved thanks to a point against Coventry.
In a drab first half the hosts took the lead through an Elliott Ward header but Sylvan Ebanks-Blake levelled things from the spot in the second period.
Mick added: "The free-kick (which led to Coventry's goal) was woeful from our point of view.
"We made some subtle changes in the second half and I was delighted with the players. We could have won it.
"Both sides had chances. It was an amazing save from Kasper Schmeichel right at the end from Sylvan.
"Sylvan just loves scoring. He's a great bloke and has both the desire and the knack."
