Wolves 1 (Ebanks-Blake 73) Ipswich 1 (Miller 90)
Wolves' play-off hopes were dashed by an injury time equaliser from Miller after Ebanks-Blake had given Wolves the lead.
Wanderers enjoyed the best of the opening minutes but it was the visitors who had the first shot on six minutes when Walters hit an effort high following a cross from Miller.
Wolves' first chance came on 13 minutes when Ebanks-Blake flashed the ball past Bywater's right hand post after being teed up by Jarvis.
Wright forced a save from Hennessey then, 17 minutes into the game, Breen had to come on for the injured Edwards. Collins moved to right-back and Foley into midfield.
Keogh shot over the bar before Ebanks-Blake was presented with a golden opportunity to open the scoring. Elokobi looped a cross into the path of the striker who struck the ball high over the bar from just four yards out on 21minutes.
Wolves were, however, creating chances for themselves.
Wright and Walters combined to threaten Wolves' goal but Hennessey got down well to save.
Ipswich, in the guise of Quinn and then Counago were denied two big opportunities by Hennessey and, sandwiched in between was a shot by Foley that, from just ten yards out, was hit straight at the keeper.
As the half drew to a close Olofinjana's drive went wide then Quinn looped an effort that went high.

The second half began at an equally high tempo but, unlike the first period, there were few chances carved out by either side.
Kightly, back from his ankle injury, started the period in place of Gray. The winger came close to celebrating his return with a goal but his header, from Jarvis' cross was deflected wide.
Just as Wolves thought it was not to be their day, Ebanks-Blake scored when he chested down in a central position, turned and fired past Bywater.
Seconds earlier the Ipswich keeper had saved from Breen and the rebound, hammered goalwards by Ebanks-Blake, hit Collins and bounced to safety.
Kyle replaced Ebanks-Blake.
A the game approached its climax, Town substitute Lee caused a moment of concern when he pulled a dangerous ball back which Foley did well to cut out.
Then Miller pulled Ipswich level in injury time from a free-kick after Breen had fouled Lee just outside the area.
