The Future Is Bright Insists Skipper
Jody Craddock is urging everyone to put the disappointment of the defeat against Albion behind them as the team prepares to do battle with Ipswich.
Wolves lost by a single goal on Tuesday night after a thrilling encounter with their local rivals. But the skipper insists the club has a positive future ahead with the crop of young talent that has been recruited over the past two seasons.
Jody says: "We were obviously bitterly disappointed with the result on Tuesday and the dressing room was quiet afterwards because we know what the game means to the fans.
"I've played in quite a few derby games in the past and the difference you feel between winning and losing is massive.
"But as one of the most senior players on Tuesday, when I reflected on the game I thought we put in a good performance.
"Seven of the players the started against Albion were 23 or under. Those players are getting better by the day and their potential is there for all to see.
"It's important that we put Tuesday behind us now and take each game as it comes. And hopefully the right results will get us into the play-offs.
"But whatever happens, with the good young players we have got at this club, the future looks bright."
