Sylvan Targets More Goals
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has set his sights on resuming his goal surge in tomorrow's derby with Albion - after having his March scoring heroics recognised.
The prolific striker took delivery today of his trophy as the Powerade Championship Player of the Month following his feat of scoring seven times in March.
The Black Country clash will be Sylvan's first taste of the local rivalry in the West Midlands and he said: "Receiving this award has started the week well for me but now we're preparing for what is a massive game.
"A lot of people will be looking forward to the occasion but we have to concentrate on the game.
"I've got the team to thank for helping me win this accolade. Now it's all about us helping each other and trying to take three very important points."
Wayne Hennessey and Jody Craddock, meanwhile, have been named in the Championship team of the week following their contributions to the clean sheet Wolves kept at Bristol City on Saturday.
* Wolves have agreed to an extension of striker Jay Bothroyd's loan stay with Stoke until the end of the season.
But they have insisted that the 26-year-old can not play if the two clubs should meet in the play-offs and that he is available to return to Molineux at 24 hours' notice if required.
Jay's loan was due to end this weekend but Stoke manager Tony Pulis was keen to retain his services despite the recent return to action of Ricardo Fuller and Liam Lawrence, the two scorers in the Potters' win at Coventry on Saturday.
The forward has had to rely mainly on substitute appearances for Stoke since being in their starting line-up at Watford last month on the afternoon he made his debut.
