Matt Jarvis is adamant that Wolves should have been awarded a penalty near the end of Saturday's trip to Bristol City.

With the score at 0-0, the advancing winger found himself sandwiched between Bradley Orr and Jamie McCombe.

But referee Paul Taylor waved play on and the game ended in stalemate.

Matt said: "We all worked extremely hard and I thought we deserved the three points.

"We created some great chances and it was a definite penalty.

"I'm inside in the box with a good chance to score but it wasn't given so we just have to move on.

"I didn't even get a chance to speak to the referee because they went straight on the break and I needed to chase back.

"In the end at least we didn't lose and it means we're still picking up the points.

"We came here to try and get three points but we go away with one and it was a good performance.

"The game became more stretched as it went on and end to end and that meant as we broke I could get more of the ball and create chances.

"I think we're in confident mood at the moment and team spirit is good, we looked like we were going to go on and win the game.

"We go into every game thinking we can win and there's no reason to be any different tomorrow night."
