Sylvan Ebanks-Blake might be the hero of the hour after his goal scoring exploits but he is keen to share the praise with his team mates.

Two strikes at the weekend - the second a real headline grabber - has helped cement the forward's position as a fans' favourite following his January transfer from Plymouth.

Since his move from Home Park the 22-year-old has notched up nine goals. However he insists the side's upturn in fortunes is down to a whole team effort.

"I can't take the credit for our recent form," he says.

"The gaffer brought me in to try and continue what I was doing down at Plymouth and that was score goals and I think I've done that.

"But as a whole team we have been growing in confidence.

"We've come through some difficult times with injuries and the team changing a lot but we've adapted and it's been a massive team effort from all of us.

"We all know where we want to be next season and are pulling together at the right time and hopefully coming good.

"Hopefully we've picked up at just the right time.

"We've come to the boil and hopefully we can push on and pick up the points we need.

"The performances against QPR and Charlton were good and the manager felt it was some of the best football the team had produced all season."
