Turning Point
Mick McCarthy is hoping Wolves have turned the corner after a run of poor form, and has called on everyone to be more understanding.
A more competitive showing at Carrow Road on Saturday earned the Molineux men a point and a boost to morale.
The boss says: "We all hope the performance at Norwich will be a turning point.
"Let's hope we've gone as low as we are going to in terms of performance and league position.
"All of us need to think now about going forward.
"We need to remember that 16 months ago when I first arrived, I came into a situation where people were thinking we were favourites for relegation. But we finished last season in fifth place.
"This is the first bad spell we've had and the players need a bit of understanding - including from me.
"Confidence can easily take a knock. That's life.
"But it was a good all-round performance at Norwich - the best we've played for a good while - so that should have done us good."
The boss has dismissed yesterday's News of the World story that said Freddy Eastwood could be set for a return to Southend. Mick said: "Freddy's not going back to Southend. I thought that was an unbelievable story."
