Mature Performance.
Mick McCarthy hailed a 'mature' performance at West Bromwich this afternoon and said he was pleased to have taken a point from Wolves' Black Country rivals.
"I'm pleased with the point and even happier with the way we played," he said.
"Terry Connor (coach) described it as a 'man's performance' in the second half. We matched them.
"Yes there was relief when Wayne (Hennessey) saved the penalty but we dominated the second half and had chances.
"They had a terrific spell in the first half but that's when we had arguably our best chances."
The boss was full of praise for hero of the hour Wayne Hennessey
He said: "He's grown in stature since we played Albion in the play-offs last season.
"Graham Stack (on loan from Reading) deserves some credit for that. He's been such a bubbly character around the place and Wayne's a better keeper for it.
"Bigger clubs are probably watching him but that's just the way it is. It doesn't worry me."
Michael Kightly left the game on crutches after twisting his ankle. He will be a doubt for Wednesday's game against Colchester.
