Young defender Lee Collins is to join Hereford United on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old Academy graduate, who has been an unused substitute for Mick McCarthy's first team this season, is due to arrive at Edgar Street on Friday.

Collins, who can play in central defence or as a full-back, is eligible to take part in United's game at Stockport County on Saturday.

The loan will run through until December 15.
