Freddy On A Roll
In-form Freddy Eastwood is set to get another staring role for Wolves tonight against Morecambe in the Carling Cup (KO 7,45pm, click here for ticket details).
With several players suffering minor injuries, any plans boss Mick McCarthy may have had to rest players will depend on their fitness.
Freddy made a scoring debut for Wolves in the first round of the competition and has now scored five goals in four games - including one for Wales.
Jay Bothroyd (sore thigh), Stephen Elliott (sore foot), Stephen Ward (sore ankle) and Michael Gray (tight groin) are all unlikely to feature but Andy Keogh (sore back) should be fit.
"Whether or not we rest anyone is going to depend on who we have got available because this is a match we want to win," says Mick. "We want to progress.
"But Freddy is flying at the minute and I'm sure he will want to play anyway."
Morecambe come to Wolves for this evening's round two game having put out Preston at Deepdale.
Mick adds: "Can Morecambe come here and play like that again? They will certainly be trying.
"They didn't turn up at Preston and just shut up shop. They played football and so we should be in for an open game."
* Freddy's impressive first cap for his country has earned him another call up to the squad that will play European qualifiers against Germany and Slovakia on Saturday 8 and Wednesday 12 of September.
Wayne Hennessey, also impressive in the recent Bulgaria game, is also named.
Meanwhile, Charlie Mulgrew is in the Scotland squad for the UEFA Under 21 Championship qualifiers against Finland and Denmark on the same dates.
