What is the Loyalty Scheme?

It is a means of tracking supporters dedication to following their team making full use of the technology in the ticket office.

How do I join?

All Wolves supporters who are registered as fans on our database will automatically join the loyalty scheme. If you have been given a supporter number in the past this means your details have previously been captured.

How will this benefit supporters?

It is widely accepted to be unfair that fans who regularly support their team at away fixtures have no greater priority for an important match at the end of the season than someone who has not bought an away ticket all year - this scheme will change that! When tickets go on sale for popular games or cup fixtures supporters with the most loyalty points will be able to purchase tickets first. Therefore more match tickets purchased means greater chance to attend the all important games!

What are points awarded for?

Every match ticket purchased has a points value whether it is home or away, Cup match or league, being a member of the ticket priority scheme entitles supporters to extra points but the maximum number of points are awarded for being a home season ticket holder.

As a season ticket holder you will not be awarded points for either additional home league match tickets purchased or for attending home matches but you will be awarded points for home cup matches and both league and cup away matches.

TPS members will be awarded 10 points for each home league match ticket they are posted however if this ticket is returned for cancellation and refund the 10 points will be deducted.

How do I get awarded points?

Points will automatically be awarded when you make an advance ticket purchase and quote your supporter number. This could be a purchase at the ticket office, over the telephone, the web or by making a postal application. Points will not be awarded for tickets purchased at the turnstiles at Molineux or any other venue. Remember points can only be awarded once and if you are making purchases for other people please ensure you quote their supporter numbers in order for them to be awarded their points.

Example 1

Mr Molineux (non season ticket holder) is booking 4 tickets for friends who are not likely to attend Molineux in the future, therefore he is booking them all on his own unique supporter number. Each ticket can be issued 10 points, but only if it is booked under individual supporter numbers.

4 tickets with1 supporter number= 10 points

Total number of points = 10 points

Example 2

Mr Molineux is booking 4 tickets with 4 different supporter numbers for each of his friends:-

4 tickets with 4 supporter numbers= 10 points per supporter number

Total number of points= 40 points

Example 3

Mr Molineux is booking 2 tickets for 2 different home fixtures on his own supporter number.2 tickets with one supporter number for 2 different fixtures =10 points per match

Total number of points =20 points

How will I know how many points I have?

The system is designed to be simple enough for supporters to calculate their own points total.  This year for the first time supporters cumulative points total will be printed on each home match ticket purchased, making it even easier to keep an accurate check.  Alternatively points are displayed on supporters home page of the on line ticketing web site.

Could I miscalculate my points total?

It is possible supporters will not accurately calculate their total therefore please always check to avoid disappointment and remember you can check by logging onto www.wolves.co.uk.  Please keep a check on the cumulative points total displayed on individual match tickets, please note errors cannot be rectified retrospectively.

How will I know how many points are required to attend a match?

The ticket office will decide in advance how many points are required to apply, not all matches will be subject to a minimum point level it will depend on the anticipated demand. Supporters need to be aware that there may still be times when although a fan will have the correct number of points his attempt to obtain a ticket will be unsuccessful, however his chances of success will be substantially increased. Minimum points required will be advertised with any fixture sale date information that will continue to be found on the telephone information line, direct at the ticket office and on the official website.

What if I want to attend a match with a group of friends?

The scheme does not want to prevent fans attending matches together and remember not all fixtures that go on sale will require a minimum points total, however, supporters will have to accept that if a friend or family member does not fulfil the points criteria they will have to wait in order to purchase their ticket. This could mean your seats would not be together.

Will I get points for tickets purchased on the turnstiles, either home or away?

Points will not be awarded for tickets purchased on a turnstile even if the ticket is produced as proof of purchase to the ticket office at a later date.

What happens if I need to cancel tickets?

Points will be deducted for tickets cancelled and points can only be awarded once for a particular match, no advantage is gained by booking multiple tickets for the same fixture. It has to be stressed the supporter needs to quote his unique supporter number in every transaction.

Why have we introduced the scheme?

It is sensible for the scheme to be introduced at the start of a season and it was always the intention to recognise and reward supporter loyalty and would form part of the next development of the ticketing technology. The majority of supporters are now in the habit of providing their supporter numbers and for the scheme to succeed this is of huge priority.

Why does an Away Season Ticket not get awarded extra points?

To be an AST holder you need to be a home season ticket holder and will already have 1000 points awarded. Your guarantee of an away ticket will not be effected by the scheme and for each away fixture you attend you will be awarded 10 points.

As a season ticket holder can I use my points for additional home match tickets?

Points awarded are unique to individual supporters and can only be used to purchase a ticket for themselves. As a home season ticket holder you already have your seat allocated therefore cannot purchase a further ticket for your own use.

How will this affect the previous sales structure?

With the loyalty scheme it may be possible that a member of the general public will accumulate greater points than a TPS member who does not attend any additional matches than those automatically issued on the scheme. For example a non TPS member may attend 20 home matches throughout the season which equates to 200 points, which in turn will be greater than the 180 points which a TPS member will receive if they attend all of their 8 allocated matches (points will be deducted for any tickets that are returned for refund).
