One lucky Wolves fan has won a prize worth £150 following our recent 2008 End of Season Awards Dinner competition.

Carol Richens from Alcester, Warks, was drawn at random from the hundreds of text votes we received to win two places at the event - sponsored by GCI Telecom - which takes place a week Thursday (1 May).

"I was completely taken aback when I got the call from the club to say I had won!," she said. "As a lifelong Wolves fan I can't wait for the chance to meet the players who I watch week-in-week-out, coming the day before my birthday it will certainly be a night to remember."
