Frank Bruno - one of Britain's best loved sportsmen - was at Molineux last week to kick off this season's Club 1877 dinner dates.

The former WBC Heavyweight World Champion proved to be a knock-out attraction for the 300 sell-out crowd.

Recounting tales from his days in the boxing ring and facing the infamous 'Iron' Mike Tyson, Britain's favourite heavyweight had the audience hanging on to his every word, complete with the booming laugh synonymous with that of the great man!

Following the raffle and auction - from which a percentage of the profits will be donated to local based charity Promise Dreams - Comedian Al Read wrapped the evening up with a hysterical performance.
