Rita Purewal, Wolves FC, said: "We're very excited about the prospect of hosting our first ever Asian Bridal Fair. It is encouraging that over recent years Molineux has been chosen as the ideal venue for Asian couples and has successfully held a number of Asian weddings.
"Given that we have a large Asian community and strong Asian supporter base this step seemed like a natural progression for us. Entry is free and it promises to be a fun filled event for the whole family. We hope this will be the first of many more Asian-based events at Molineux," concluded Rita.
Wolves are currently playing a key part in the Wolverhampton / India initiative, which has been set up by Pat McFadden MP and Wolverhampton City Council. The club has formed a partnership with Indian National League side, JCT Mills, which will see both sides work closely to exchange information on both community and football-based programmes.
