Wolves youth team earned a creditable draw against table topping Manchester City.
The Blues had only dropped points once so far this season, amassing eight wins and one draw as they set about winning the title for the third year in a row.
The visitors put Wolves under pressure from the whistle, making Danny Batth and Tom Spalding work hard in defence.
The hosts eventually worked their way into the game and had a good chance to open the scoring on 20 minutes. Alex Melbourne broke down the left hand side and crossed for James Davis whose header from seven yards went straight to the keeper.
Kyle Bennett then set up Ashley Hemmings who played Sam Winnall through to shoot wide from a good position.
City piled on the pressure and Billy Lumley (pictured) was twice called upon to make good saves near the end of the half.

Wolves started the second period strongly with Hemmings crossing for Davis to shoot narrowly wide.
Soon after City broke and Lumley was forced to make two saves in quick succession - one from point blank range.
Wanderers should have won all three points when Winnall was brought down in the area on 75 minutes after being put through by Bennett.
David Ijaha stepped up to the spot but his penalty kick was saved by the keeper.
Both sides battled and in the last few minutes and Davis had an excellent chance to wrap things up for Wolves when he was played through by Hemmings but delayed his shot which the keeper easily saved.
Coach John Perkins says: "Overall it was an excellent performance against the best side we've played so far. With the chances we created, we should have won."
